Details series started with my unexplainable obsession with box(y) shapes that I've been working on through the pieces such as Black and White. The square shape was something that spontaniously appeared at the time of the process of "creating something", which led to more impulsive work that I've tried to cultivate through the Moodscapes.
After having enough time to experiment with different mediums and one constantly repeating shape, I decided to take one more step in defining this obsession by making it more specific and visually more recognizable.

Details series present my focus on the certain Byzantine motifs that are taken out from their original context and isolated from anything that was previously around them, on them, in order not to make any other context but their own. The solitude of these visualised elements are here to show the beauty of just simply being left alone.
